COACHES MEETING FOR 2010 FALL BALL - Has been postponed, head coaches please see email!
MESA Background Check Policy - click the link to download our policy
Any adult on the field or in the dugout for MESA is required to complete a coaching application and be approved by MESA via a background check. Coaches (assistants, team moms, etc.) will be issued a card once approved by MESA and must keep this card on their person when on the field. Random checks by any board member can and will be done throughout the year to enforce this rule of having approved coaches on the field (and in the dugout). ALL forms must be filled out and turned in together.

Applications can be submitted Jason Johnson but MUST be originals only, no scanned or faxed copies will be accepted. You may reach Jason at mesapersonneldirector@yahoo.com to submit your application.
Assistant Coaches must have their application signed by the head coach prior to submitting.

Lightning Policy
For Team Registration:
1. DO NOT STAPLE anything to the registration forms.
2. Put the Coach's name (not team name) in the "if returning to prior team" blank of the registration form for EACH PLAYER ON YOUR TEAM.
3. Ask the parents whether they live in Forney City limits and FISD and provide that information at the bottom of the registration form.

ASA rules dictate the allowed bats for use during play. Bats must have the following stamps on them to be allowed use on the field during games. Umpires can and will check bats to make sure they are not on the banned bat list.
